Bobby Dolan

My name is Bobby Dolan I am currently an Assistant Professor in Residence in the math department at UConn Avery Point. I graduated with my Ph.D. in Mathematics from UConn in 2020.  I am generally interested in numerical methods used to approximate the solutions of ODEs and PDEs. In particular, my research focuses on developing numerical algorithms and coupling methods for atmosphere-ocean interaction. These numerical algorithms and models are based on the equations governing the states of the atmosphere and ocean and are used for applications such as climate research, hurricane modeling and regional weather forecasting.
